Advanced Photography Las Vegas
what camera should i buy to go to vegas? here's the catch there is some criteria.?
i need to buy a new camera as i do photography as a hobby/side earner i use one of 3 SLR's but in a few weeks im off to Las Vegas i keep in there with the latest SLR tech but no very little with regards to bog standard digital cameras.
heres the criteria
1. the destination is las vegas and its a stag-do.... so the camera needs to be rugged as its going to be in the pocket of, and surrounded by some lads who are.... expressing themselves, with beer.
2. budget of approx £200-£300 (no more) (preferably around the £200 region though)
3. lots of features... a bit of a wannabe SLR is ideal
4. high quality image processors to take some visually stunning photos of the strip, grand canyon and valley of fire
5. the cheaper the better to be honest (i know this comprimises quality but a balance of quality and cost would be nice).
as many suggestions are welcome so i can choose from a varied selection and go and play about with them in shops.

Best bet is to buy a camera magazine and then check out the ones you like.
something like the Canon Ixus would suit you.
