Building Photography Business
what's the best size for a photography studio with an office?
I'm starting to build a business with photography and web development here in the city I'm living in and I am planing to get my studio build but I am confused on how big I should want it. This is what I will be needing for my studio: 1 big office, 1 staff room, 1 big reception area, storage space, big parking lot and big area to do my photography. What do you think would be a perfect size for this studio? Thank you for your help!
Probably impossible to have a specific answer with just the information given. If you're starting a business the most important thing is to make sure that the costs of your studio/office fit within your budget. You can work in a smaller space if you have to, but you can't run your business at a loss.
Also, I'm guessing if you're in any significant city you're much more likely rent rather than build your own -- so you won't get to choose the exact sizes anyway. My recommendation is to start with the amount you can spend, then talk to a business realtor and look at what the office options are in your price range. Good luck!
