Noisy neighbors,music. Ive complained. Manager needs proof. Can One record within the hallway? Illegal? I am in PA.

My neighboors are extremely noisy using their music and i have complained but my property managers want proof. You are able to hear their music within the hallway the industry public access area. Basically just walk within the hallway with my camera and record how noisy their music it's that considered illegal? I am not wiretapping or recording their conversations just walking during my hallway and recording with my camera to exhibit how noisy their music is. Exactly what does everybody think? Is illegal?
If you're able to hear their music inside your apartment, then switch on the recorder inside your apartment. Request a few of the other neighbors whether it bothers them, they may help you in getting this taken proper care of.
