Using Photoshop Brushes
It seems like only yesterday that the world ushered in the world of personal computers and the birth of the internet but in that short time so much has evolved. The advent and popularity of digital art is just one of these.
One of the contributors to this growth is Photoshop. Photoshop is a graphic software that allows the manipulations of photos and colour in a digitalized workspace. Digital artist achieve breathtaking graphic results through the use of many of Photoshop tools. One of these often used tools is the Photoshop brush.
The Photoshop brush like the name suggests is a brush which allows the art of painting in the Photoshop software. Using graphic tablets digital artists are able to select different brush sizes and replicate the kind of brush strokes which one would expect in the real world. There is however more. With special photoshop brushes, it is possible for graphic artists to paint murals or stencils with just a click. The advantages of this are obvious. The most obvious of this is the amount of time which can be saved through its use.
However, although digital brushes of this nature are very valuable, they are not accompanied by the original Photoshop software. In order to include them in your library therefore you will need to download or buy these brushes.
There are many avenues online that provide aid in either of these areas. Downloading a Photoshop brush for instance can easily be done over the web. A quick use of a search engine will reveal a number of sites that offer free Photoshop brushes for download. In most cases, you will be expected to leave referrals and an optional donation for the providers in exchange for the brushes.
You will be amazed with how rich in design these brushes can be. You will find floral and grunge designs amongst many. Using this will provide added beauty to your graphic work. Downloading Photoshop brushes is a really good idea if you intend on improving as a graphic artist, web designer or simply plan on adopting digital art as a hobby.
