Ocean Photography Jobs

whats it take to be a photographer? where do i start?
im 15 in highschool. i want to be a photographer after graduation. not much interest me other than this. right now im taking photography 1 classes at school, i plan on take up to photography 2 or 3. i love taking pictures of scenery, i would love to travel with this. the ocean fasinates me. even taking wedding pictures would be great. im always taking pictures of random things in the neighborhood. is there any certain kinds of jobs that require this? so how long would you need to go to school for it? do you need to be your own boss? where do i start with this whole thing? i truely have no idea hah. thanks a lot
You should know how to handle a business and people. Know your camera and be a good artist.
Well, being a professional photographer doesn't mean that you'll have fun.
Something is having photography as a hobby, as I do, and something is making a living from it.
You're working for a client, and in some types of photography, client is the boss. He doesn't want you to have fun, he want this or that results.
Having photography as a hobby doesn't mean that you're less photographer than that pro. I prefer this way because I can do everything I want with my photography.
