Photography Ethics
Would English Literature help in an acting career?
I was just wondering if English Literature would help in an acting career. That includes getting into university.
I'm 16 and taking my A-Levels at the moment. I WAS taking Performing Arts, Drama, English Literature and PVA (Photography, Video and Animation).
I am NOW taking Performing Arts, Drama, Philosophy & Ethics and PVA.
I dropped English Lit because I was struggling with the work load and struggling to understand the books we were studying, so I took up Philosophy & Ethics which was my second choice had I not gotten into English Literature anyway.
So I was just wondering if switching my A-Levels would affect getting a place in drama/performing arts school/universities and getting acting roles in general.

And if anyone is wondering.. YES I can act. I got an A* in GCSE and I'm on an A* currently in my first year of A level
If you want to work for The Royal Theatre Comp. then I would suggest that English Lit. is a must have.
