Working on writing a contract for a wedding. What do you think of this section?
'4.Requested Photos: This is the clients day and will be treated as such. Me or my assistant will not dictate you and tell you how to pose (we are not those kind of photographers) unless you would like that. It is much more comfortable for the subjects if they play the role of themselves rather than when you tell them how to posre. Everyone feels awkward and less relaxed when it is posed. While me and my assistant will make every reasonable effort to take photos specifically requested by clients, clients understand that this is an uncontrolled event and that due to the weather, lighting, time restrictions, and willingness of subjects, I cannot possibly guarantee that ALL requested photos will be taken, but we will do our best.'
If I saw that in a contract then I would go and look for another photographer.
It is badly worded, badly written and unnecessary.
