In video photography, what does "metering mode" do? Motion Blur?
On my digital camera, there are two options under "Metering Mode": Mufti (exposure based on the entire frame) and Center (exposure based on center brightness). What is the mode, and does it have any bearing on "motion blur"?

The mode determines how much of the frame (and where in the frame) the camera is judging the exposure from. If the lightness/darkness of the frame varies greatly then it will have an effect on the shutter speed/aperture selected, depending on what mode you are in.
If you want to choose what shutter speed the camera shoots at (thereby controlling motion blur) then shoot in shutter priority or manual.
