Photography Golden Hour
does Golden Hour Photography Work when its cloudy?
i hear the golden hour is the best time to take pictures because the light is softer and shadows are more dramatic etc..
however where i live it is always cloudy at sun set .. so the light doesnt look anything spectacular or anything.
if it is cloudy just before sunset do you still get a nice effect? or is it pointless without sun shining?
The golden hour is perfect for landscapes, city scapes and portraits on the dunes but cloudy is just wonderful for macros, portraits and other images that don't include the sky. Take advantage of the biggest softbox on the planet!
