Photography Lighting Equipment Rental
How do photo studio rentals work for photographers.?
I notice ads for photography lofts/studios where the owners offer studio rentals by the hour. How does it work? Do you have access to equipment like backgrounds, props, lights (skylights, strobes?), reflectors, etc?. Or do you bring your own set up, for example, a studio strobe set up? Is there usually someone around to supervisor help. What about insurance issues? Are you responsible for damages? Finally, how do you go about finding spaces for rent in your area -- mine is Washington, DC, Balt., Philadelphia.
Sometimes they are just renting the space for the basic price and any equipment etc is extra (if they have it).
Sometimes it is all inclusive.
As with any rental, you are responsible for any damage.
There is normally (but not always) someone around to assist.
Check your local business directories or www for your area to find them.
