Photography Lighting Softbox
Photography lighting?
I just bought a strobe and a softbox with a stand. I put the softbox together with a ring, and the strobe is on the stand, but I can't get the strobe to stay attached to the softbox. The ring has 4 adjustable screws, but they won't stay tight enough on the strobe. What do I need to attach the two? Thanks for your help
Certain strobes have proprietary mounts and you need the right mount on the ring. For example I use Calumet Genesis lights. They accept the same mount as Elinchrom so I had to get an Elinchrom speedring.
What brand of lights are you using? You will likely have to get a speedring from the manufacturer of your lights.
