Photography Origin

Are you a one-brand person in Photography...?
As with cars, electronics, and to some point anything that belongs to the global free market, there are people who buy products with diverse brand and origin.. while some others are very loyal to a specific brand or origin...
Do you belong to one of these categories and WHY?
For the most part, I am relatively not a one-brand person. I do tend to like Canon for my AE-1, A-1, and Rebel T2 - but by the same token, I have also just acquired a Minolta XG-7, and have an Ansco Anscoset and a Pentax K-1000. Now that's for bodies and glass.
When it comes to black and white films, I'm relatively all over the board. Plus-X and Tri-X are pretty nice, but Ilford's FP-4+ and HP-5+ will always have a certain love in my heart for them. Then there's Fuji ACROS, which is just plain amazing. And this isn't to mention the silver rich films like Efke. I tend not to care for the T-Grain/delta-Grain etc films (aside from ACROS' sigma-Grain) very much at all, but that's simply because of how tempermental it makes the film, and sometimes I find that grain can add to the feel of the image if I'm in my more dark and broody moods.
Color Negative Films, I'm a bit narrower. I have been meaning to pick up some Ektar, everything I've heard makes me sound like the stuff is just this side of transperancy film, but for the most part I find myself drawn to Fuji Reala.
With Color Transperancy Films, I'm pretty much solely Fuji. I've done the gamut a while back, and each of the pro emulsion Fuji Transperancy films I find more enjoyable when it comes to specific circumstances.
When I make the move for digital (may or may not be for some time), I'm going to need to weigh my options heavily. That being said, I am pretty sure I'll likely stick with Canon if only for the familiarity with the layout, which I found to be laid-out pretty well, and with not needing to buy more glass for it unless I really want some other lenses.
In the end, if it's something that would be a significant investment (like a digital SLR) unless you are doing very well for yourself in this drat economy, up and changing brands means having to buy a large number of new lenses, flashes, etc. which becomes far too expensive to really justify the purchase. When it comes to incedental purchases, like film, paper, and the like, that tends to be where I like to play to figure out what I like about each film or paper.
