Photography San Antonio
Which University should i go to???
I want to study film and production, i want to become a movie director, and was curious to know, which of the following schools is better??? Not money wise, but experience wise?? Sometimes i regret not going to Brooks 
1. Cal Arts
2. Brooks Institute of photography "i was accepted here but refused to go, because of the amount of money they were charging"
3. California State Long Beach University "I'm really considering this one, but not really sure yet, its cheaper" "steven speilberg graduated from this school"
4. UCLA
5. USC
6. University of Southern California
I live in Texas, i think that the University of San Antonio has a film school, but i want to start off in California since, that's where Hollywood is at
I'd say prob USC is the best film school, followed behind UCLA but for UCLA you can't apply till sophomore year and you have to get your GE's out of the way.
idk anything about 1-3, but i'm gussing that if you want to be an animator, like work for Disney, then go to CalArts because I know a ton of disney animators went there and they have a really good rep for animation
btw....5 and 6 are the same...unless you mean another USC, which there might be but idk.
also NYU is a top film school.
Other schools that have a good rep/film department are
UT Austin (which as you are a texan you'd porb know)
Chapman University (orange, california)
Boston University (maybe)
Emerson College
Northwestern (idk about film...but a really good communications dept)
Temple University (really easy to get into...i think a really crappy school..but a decent film dept) (in pennsylvania though)
