For my high school photography class, we need to take photos of fashion...?
For my high school photo class we need to photograph clothes. Actually the topic is fashion. I need to know what are some kind of clothes or fashionable things that i could photograph in an interesting way. The background must be plain black or white. I was thinking maybe taking a photo of someone wearing a lot of rings? And possibly one of shoes. What other suggestions do you have? Anything would be helpful. by the way we're using actual film not digital so we can't photoshop things out, but we can phtoshop things in using adobe photoshop. Any suggestions would eb appreciated. Thank you.
Also we have to have a couple of photos which make a statement about the fashion of today and how it affects people. For example my teacher showed us one where a there was a plus sized girl holding up a super skinny dress up to her body.
The film is black and white by the way. thanks for all suggestions.
ok. so it seems like so far you've gotten acessories. go to the mall & ask or dont even bother asking if you can take a picture of one of their display manicans. if its the ones without heads have a friend be the head. try having a skinny person hold up a huge dress. a lot of wooden or plastic or metal bangles. somebody with neon jewelry. i know they used to have bracelets and necklaces at claires. also with colorful bangles paint nails ton match and gett rings.
