Is really a Minolta AF Maxxum 7000 camera a great beginner camera?
I discovered one out of great condition relatively inexpensively. Let me perform some amateur photography with something a bit more capable than the usual snapshot camera. Any advice/hints could be great
i simply observed within the listing that it arrives with the manual. this appears just like a great camera, the type that will give the design of "hey i am holding a genuine camera that utilizes actual film, not some shoddy digital will be able to have a million pictures with." possibly i'll nab it, thanks
Yes, as lengthy as it arrives with the manual. The Maxxum 7000 was the very first in a commercial sense effective automatic, autofocus camera. It is extremely capable, however the controls aren't intuitive at all. Things are controlled with a couple of buttons on top, close to the shutter. There's no mode dial, or shutter speed dial, or aperture ring about the contacts. So a manual is essential!
Next... it is only as capable every other 35mm film camera.
I have never really used mine, I apologize to express. I purchased it as being set, using the 50mm f/1.7 and 2800 expensive, for $40. All I truly wanted in the set was the lens...
