Can there be anyway to lessen glare on glass without lowering the transparency?

Hi everybody. I'm not sure how possible this really is, but it is possible to method to lessen the glare of my Brought fitting shining with the glass lid? Simultaneously, not effecting the transparency from the glass? I understand Ultra violet covered filters in photography reduce flare but I'm not sure the way it effects transparency from the glass. Even when which was the situation I'm not sure how I'd coat the glass using the Ultra violet. Any ideas? Thanks ahead of time.
