D7000 16MP Nikon DSLR announced mid
Nikon DSLR unveiled its latest mid-range market? C Nikon D7000.
Packing a whole lot of features that seem to pit them against a recent EOS 60D DSLR offers a 16.2MP sensor, 14-bit color depth and a huge range of ISO 100 to 25600(extended).
D7000 does not quite match D300s in terms of continuous shooting, but it can rattle off 6fps when needed.
Autofocus photos
If it comes to shooting video, D7000 24fps 1080p brings to the table and lets you use the continuous focus during movie recording.
This is done using MPEG4 and there is a built-in editing.

There are also dual SD card slot on board, which means that it will not have to chop and change during the shooting and there is no audio-in jack on the camera.
Nikon D7000 is the UK release date of 29 October and will cost 1,099.99.
